Susan Dacy is one of only a few females performing airshows in a biplane. She flies “Big Red,” a 450 horsepower WWII trainer plane and performs ground-level, hard-charging aerobatics. She’s known for moves such as barrel rolls, slow rolls, hammered turns, loops, and more.

Mike Vaknin brings precision, speed, and head-spinning gyroscopic maneuvers to the air in the Extra 300L—a tandem-seated monoplane. He flies twice a day, five days a week during contest and airshow seasons to stay safe and proficient
